What is the campus like?
The Institute has a large campus of about 14.5 acres. A purpose built campus having Administrative Block, Academic Block, Kitchen Block, Restaurant Block, Hostel Block, Museum Block, Guest House and VIP suites. The hostels and staff quarters are on the campus. It is a quiet place to study and work. Institute planning to install a Wi-Fi facility.
Is there Ragging? Do ICI have policies against it?
Zero Tolerance to ragging. Yes, ICI has strict policies against ragging and we have a Anti ragging committee to look after any such instances.
What extracurricular activities and clubs are available?
The institute has Yuva Tourism Club, Sports Club, Cultural Club and Students Activities Club. However, it is left to the students and their teacher/mentors to decide what Club they would like to start. Through such activity students started Institut;s newsletter 'Spoonful'; available on the website.
Sports Facilities : Day & Night sports facilities available for the students; like Football, Volleyball and Badminton with facility of flood light.
Gym facility available for the students.
How diverse is the student body?
Being Institute at national level; we receive students from all over India.
What resources are available for student health and well-being?
In house nurse is available to give first aid to the students and staff. Doctor-on-call and a Sick-room facility with basic infra is available
What transportation options are available for students?
APSRTC Buses ply from Tirupati and Renigunta. Take a bus going to Papanaidupeta or Gudimallam and alight at ‘ICI or Deccan’ bus stop after Kurrakalava village.
Shared autos are available from Renigunta bus stand.
Can students bring cars on campus?
On permission of the Academic Incharge, one can bring a car and park them at designated parking. They will have to follow the rules in this regard.
